Ebook & Digital Store Terms

The short version

• You pay once and get your ebook and workbook by email. There's no subscription.
• Your copy is for your own use. Please don't share, post or resell it.
• Paid ebooks are final sale once delivered, but we always fix a download that doesn't work, a double charge or our mistake.
• Free ebooks are free. Signing up for one adds you to B-Ville emails, which you can stop any time.

1. What you're buying. The store sells digital ebooks and companion fillable PDF workbooks from Batesville Media, such as Great Idea. Now What? and Elevate Your Pitch ($19.99 each, ebook and workbook together) and Elevate Your Project, Genre Is a Business Decision, Let Them Steal the Scene and Brands in the Frame ($14.99 each). Each product page shows the title, what's included, page counts and the price in US dollars before you buy. Prices exclude any sales tax we are required to collect, which is shown at checkout.

2. One-time purchase. Ebook purchases are single payments processed by Stripe. They never renew and never start a subscription.

3. Delivery. After payment, we email a download link to the address you gave at checkout, usually within minutes and no later than 24 hours. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then email info@bvillemedia.com with your order email and we'll resend it. We'll also replace a file that won't open. Download links may expire for security; ask us any time for a new one.

4. Free ebooks. Some ebooks are free in exchange for your name and email address. When you sign up for a free ebook, we email you the download link and add you to B-Ville emails about free tools, launches and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never takes away a book you already have. Free ebooks given as event prizes (for example, the AfroTech Spin to Win) follow that event's Official Rules.

5. Your license. Each ebook and workbook is licensed, not sold, to the person who bought or received it. You may download it, keep copies on your own devices, print it for yourself and fill in the workbook. You may not share it publicly, post it online, email it to others, resell it, upload it to AI tools or file-sharing sites, or use it to teach a course without our written permission. Batesville Media keeps all rights in the content.

6. Refunds. Because ebooks are delivered instantly and can't be returned, paid ebook purchases are final once delivered. We will always refund or fix: a download that fails and that we can't fix, a duplicate charge, a charge you didn't authorize, or a product that is materially different from its description. Email info@bvillemedia.com with your order email. These rules never reduce a right you have under law.

7. Not professional advice. Our ebooks, workbooks and lessons share general information and Lorisa Bates's industry experience. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting or guild advice, and results aren't guaranteed. Books on contracts, rights, pricing or money, such as Get Paid Like a Pro and Guard Your Work, are a starting point; talk to a qualified professional before you act on them.

8. Bundles and perks. Ebooks included with a membership, the Founders Circle or an event prize are covered by these same license terms and are yours to keep once delivered.
